Description

The BARTEC Agile X industrial tablet PC is a purpose-built UL Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 device for enterprise use in rugged environments. Packed with features, the Agile X is the perfect tool for maintenance technicians, operators, engineers and project managers in the field. BARTEC has optimized this device for maximum productivity. It includes 5 MP rear camera for worksite capture, 2 MP front-side camera for video calling, high accuracy GPS, and optional integrated barcode reader. The Agile X also features a rear-side expansion slot, allowing the tablet to be extended with custom-designed sensors.

Enterprise and Field Ready

The device leverages the full power of Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry, the ultimate industry-ready enterprise-level operating system. Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry has all the power of Windows 8.1 Pro but with added security features such as device lockdown to avoid, for example, registry alteration or USB device addition. A seamless transition from the office to the field with office and vehicle docks can be created. Wireless LAN, Bluetooth and optional LTE also provides realtime data transfer and connectivity to field workers.

Mobile Rugged Design

The Agile X is a military-spec rugged mobile device, withstanding shock, vibration and 4-foot drops to concrete. It can be operated in a wide temperature range of -20 °C up to +40 °C, allowing the tablet to be used in the toughest of industrial environments. With IP 65 rating, the device is dust tight, and can withstand water jets against the device enclosure. So, it is easily cleaned after a rough day in the field.
