Industrial Electrical Heating Suitable for Use in Ex Area
The different BARTEC heating systems and technology can be used for all variations of electrical heating applications.
Systems with self-limiting parallel heating tapes
BARTEC offers self-limiting parallel heating tapes of types PSBL, PSB, MSB, HSB and HTSB and combinations with connection and termination equipment for various needs of electrical heating applications. The system certificate (ATEX, IEC Ex, CSA, ...) shows the designer and end user the combinations, operation limits and suitable explosion safety marking for the use of the selected electrical heating system. The BARTEC heating systems have type examination for EN / IEC 60079.
Systems with single core heating cables
BARTEC offers single core heating cables of types EKL, and EMK and combinations with connection equipment for various needs of electrical heating applications. The system certificate (ATEX, IEC Ex, ...) shows the designer and end user the combinations, operation limits and suitable explosion safety marking for the use of the selected electrical heating system. The BARTEC heating systems have type examination for EN / IEC 60079. The application is typically designed and engineered to the plant requirements.
Systems for long and wide dimensions
BARTEC offers for long transfer pipelines, platforms and tanks the optimal solution with the least number of feeding points, The BARTEC SEH Skin Effect heating system allows the use of only one power supply by means of a high voltage transformer up to 5000V (at max. 180A). The application is BARTEC designed and engineered to the plant requirements.
System for heating of Offshore Pipelines
BARTEC offers for offshore pipelines to be heated the Deep Sea Star® (DSS).
The Deep Sea Star prevents the emergence of wax and hydrate formations. The rated voltage of up to 5000 V allows heating circuit lengths of 20000 m using only one feeding point. The quality of the Deep Sea Star® has been confirmed by sira in accordance with the international standards IEE 844-200 and IEC 60079-30-1.
